ROB ROY, son of Ryan brings a new bloodline to the stud. Rob Roy offers a genetic outcross as he comes from the Romulus bloodline, an earlier excellent Furzeland sire.
Rob Roy had a fantastic line up in the 2010 Elite Stag Sale - all were very typical of him, having all of his excellent antler characteristics. A very nice Rob Roy son 06018 fetched the top price in the sale - with all of his offspring performing strongly.
His 2009 season head once again scored will at 528 1/8 MI.
In 2008 Rob Roy, as expected, exceeded 500 MI. Scoring 503 MI
and cutting 14.16kg of Hard Antler.
As a 2 year old Rob Roy had a magnificent head,a stand out, in very
good company.
His style of antlers is of a type that we endeavour to breed in the
future. Large round beam with excellent length in lower tynes and a
long overall aspect with multiple high scoring tops. The ultimate
sire.
